Consumer Confidence

In the Crazy Republican e-mail below, it states:
"A little over one year ago, consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high."

Here is why this is propoganda:

It is true that it was at a 2-1/2 year high in 2006, but it was a high point of a declining index. Notice how it has gone down during the Bush Administration, and it had gone up in Clinton's. Next republican lie please.
